Byron Aged Care Meals and Nutrition

We understand that aged care meals and nutrition are an important part of aging well, which is why we offer a well-balanced diet to all our residents. We take pride in ensuring the ongoing health and wellbeing of our residents through our nutritious approach to mealtimes.

Our fabulous on-site chefs put careful thought into planning each meal and love to cook up a storm, preparing fresh and delicious meals every day. We also prepare a wide range of meals each week to cater to the differing tastes of our residents.

Our mealtimes are flexible so that residents can maintain their independence and enjoy mealtimes. As a general guide, we start breakfast between 7-8am, morning tea with cakes or biscuits around 10am, a full lunch at 12.30pm, afternoon tea with cakes or biscuits around 3pm, and dinner from 5.30pm, noting some of our residents enjoy a late supper at 7:30pm.

We welcome visitors to Byron Aged Care during all mealtimes and love to see our residents enjoying meals with family and friends.

Our residents and their families have some glowing things to say about us:
